International Friendship day

Its international friendship day tomorrow! The day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year, and is less well known in the UK but is very popular in Asia. With Valentine’s day being so popular it’s easy to forget about the equally important, non-romantic relationships in our lives. Valentine’s day and mother’s day are some of our busiest periods as florists but our other relationships are equally important, and what better way to show a friend your appreciation them buying them a beautiful bouquet of flowers?

Here at Floral Essence we are passionate about flowers. We opened doors of Floral Essence on the 10th of February 2012. My name is Kristine and as a young girl I dreamed of one day opening my very own flower shop. I wanted to show how I could take the simplest stemmed flowers and bring them together into a bouquet of colourful flowers and I wanted to make every woman and man feel special, happy and have uncontrollable smile ones they saw flowers by Floral essence. I’m very lucky to have wonderful ladies working in my team each of whom has creative skills and both are very gifted. Audrey who has worked alongside since opening and have 15 years work experience, and Inga started at Floral essence in order to gain knowledge of floral design.
